INCLUSION

With Solfa, Cofidis Group acts for women in situations of exclusion

The group has chosen to make the fight against exclusion the priority of its #Like commitment. On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Cofidis Group wishes to highlight its commitment to women and its pride in having supported the association Solfa SOLidarité Femmes Accueil this year.

Financial support for the inclusion of women in great difficulty

As part of the #Like (Like Inclusion Keep Engaged) social component of its CSR approach, Cofidis Group launched a “Move Together for #Like” sports challenge in spring 2021 to benefit associations promoting inclusion. In addition to an initial donation made in 2020 to Solfa, Synergie employees have chosen to get involved for these women who are victims of discrimination, violence or inequality. At the end of the two-week challenge, 130 employees walked, ran and cycled nearly 6,000 kms to raise funds for the Solfa association.

The employees can be proud of the fact that their mobilisation made it possible to finance emergency accommodation for women who are victims of domestic violence and to be welcomed there with their children. They were also offered moments of escape this summer in the form of outings to the Louvre Lens, Nausicaa or bowling thanks to the financial support of the group.

A big thank you to the employees for their commitment and to all those who take part in this cause alongside Solfa.
