Team Cofidis at the start of the 2026 Tour de France!
On the eve of the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France, the Cofidis Group teams gathered in Barcelona to cheer on the Team Cofidis riders.
A symbolic meeting at Cofidis Spain
Tomorrow, Team Cofidis will set off on its 30th Tour de France. This year’s race will begin in Barcelona, on the home ground of Cofidis Spain.
To mark the occasion, several special events were organized with the teams from Cofidis Group.
After their final training session, the riders were welcomed at Cofidis Spain by Pierre Salomon, Adelfo Fernández, and Juan Luis Junquera. They then met with employees from our subsidiary. The agenda included discussions, photos, and a chance to connect before the Grand Départ.
This gathering illustrates our ambition to come together as a group and build connections between our teams, across borders.
Words of encouragement from the directors
On the eve of the first stage, the Cofidis Group Executive Committee also met with the riders and staff led by Raphaël Jeune.
Gilles Sauret, president of the Cofidis Group, delivered a message of confidence and encouragement. He was accompanied by Nicolas Wallaert, Vincent Laurin, Olivier Kling, Katia Caniot, Céline Motte, Alessandro Borzacca, and Amandine Montac.
These unifying moments served as a reminder of the strong bonds that unite the Cofidis Group and Team Cofidis.
